2005 Car Fire at RT80 and Green Pond - 2nd Asst Chief Giordano

On June 14, 2005, the Rockaway Borough Fire Department was dispatched to an apparent fuel leak that resulted in the total loss of a rack body truck belonging to EMC Corporation.  The truck caught fire on Green Pond Road at the Route 80 interchange at approximately 1015 hours.  The first due truck, Engine 412 arrived on scene and the quick actions of 2nd Assistant Chief Joseph Giordano, the flames were quickly extinguished.                                       Photographs by FirePhotographs
