2007 Pine Street Commons

On April 23, 2007, the Rockaway Borough Fire Department was dispatched to a heavy smoke condition in the area of Pine Street and Stickle Avenue.  The heavy smoke was reported by a delivery driver at a nearby business at approximately 4:30am.  Upon arrival, it was determined that the fire was located in a commercial structure at 21 Pine Street.  The subsequent investigation located the fire between the ceiling of the first floor and the floor decking of the second story.  Mutual Aid was requested from Denville, Dover, Rockaway Township and Picatinny Arsenal.                Photographs by Joe Mason of FirePhotographs.com      All pictures of the Pine Street fire are for sale by FirePhotographs at http://www.firephotographs.com/pictures.htm
